looking back & moving forward.

Everyone has a story. It is our real life experiences that make us human, & the action (or inaction) along with it that define us. Each story might have a victor or a villian, a triumph or a tragedy, a light at the end of the tunnel or maybe a whole new trajectory; but, of course, that all depends on who’s telling it.

These experiences can shape us, show us the world in new ways or with new eyes or show us that we might never have been shown the truth to begin with. How we continue to move through the world after such an experience speaks to the content of character & the depth of our resiliency.

I’m realizing with time & age & experience, I’ve seen & been through some sh*t - on multiple fronts. But, it’s been these things; those partnerships, friendships, organizations or ideas that I no longer resonate with have helped me to create space for who I AM. So for that, I’m grateful. I hope you too can take away a little bit of beauty from people, places or things that didn’t have your best interest, or love or treat you the way you had deserved. Everything you are looking for is out there - sometimes the person you are looking for is yourself.
